01 EXPOLUX São Paulo, Brazil

Held from September 15 to 18, 2026, EXPOLUX Brazil took place at the Expocenter Norte in São Paulo.

As Latin America’s sole, largest and most influential professional lighting exhibition, EXPOLUX serves as a key industry event for Brazil and the wider Latin-American lighting sector, as well as a vital global platform for lighting enterprises to showcase cutting-edge products and technologies.

SUNCOM co-exhibited alongside its local Brazilian agent with a 72m² booth. On display were SUNCOM’s flagship engineering LED drivers including the HVS, LBS and SCP series, together with the agent’s supporting modules, lenses and complete luminaires. The joint offering delivers one stop lighting solutions for end users.This integrated approach substantially cuts customers’ costs incurred by sourcing components from multiple suppliers — covering communication, lead-time coordination, quality assurance and after sales services. This may explain the stark contrast seen at the show: while booths of many competing LED driver brands drew sparse traffic, SUNCOM’s joint booth enjoyed heavy visitor turnout for the second consecutive edition of EXPOLUX Brazil.

Building on over three years of brand building and market cultivation, SUNCOM has gained recognition among major Brazilian engineering contractors, many of whom have adopted our LED driver products. To date, SUNCOM has shipped more than 1 million LED driver units to Brazil, with a solid portfolio of landmark municipal lighting projects.

SUNCOM’s Brazilian agent expressed high optimism for the brand’s outlook across South America. The local team will keep promoting SUNCOM and strive to establish it as a well-known engineering-grade LED driver brand throughout Brazil.

02 The 2nd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Lighting Technology Forum

Hosted on September 12, 2026 at the Accor Swiss Hotel Guangzhou, the 2nd Guangdong-Hong-Kong-Macao Lighting Technology Forum brought together industry experts, business leaders and research-institute representatives. Participants held in-depth discussions on technological innovation, standard-setting and market trends for human-centric & healthy lighting. By sharing state-of-the-art research, reviewing policy directions and exploring cross-sector collaboration, the forum aims to drive the industry shift from “providing light” to “delivering quality light”, supporting high-quality industrial development and high-standard healthy lighting environments.

The forum was organized by the Guangdong Illuminating Engineering Society, with co-hosts including Guangdong Lighting & Electrical Appliance Association, Hong Kong Lighting & Optoelectronics Association and Macao Lighting & Optoelectronics Society. As an event supporting organization, Guangdong SUNCOM Power Tech Co., Ltd. attended the forum as an invited guest.

Two star products were presented at the event: the integrated intelligent LED driver with co-layout Cat.1 & PLC design, and dedicated DC tunnel LED drivers. They drew positive feedback from association officials and attracted numerous attendees, who stopped by for on-site inquiries.

SUNCOM is among the earliest manufacturers to develop and deploy integrated intelligent lighting LED drivers, boasting rich R&D and manufacturing experience plus extensive real-world project references for IoT-enabled municipal lighting. Our first HPLC intelligent-LED driver energy-saving retrofit project passed acceptance back in 2017. Cumulative deliveries of HPLC and 4G Cat.1 intelligent LED drivers have exceeded 200 000 units to-date.

SUNCOM has long specialized in DC-powered tunnel lighting projects. Cumulative shipments of our DC tunnel LED drivers surpass 600 000 units. Our product portfolio consists of four main families covering 78 models: DC750 V isolated, DC400 V isolated, DC750 V non-isolated and DC400 V non-isolated variants, covering over 90 % of mainstream application requirements. Based on tender-project statistics and direct & indirect sales records, SUNCOM holds over 70 % market share within the DC tunnel LED driver segment, establishing itself as the preferred LED driver brand for DC-powered tunnel-lighting engineering.
